Jo Roux began her career, hired by Sheriff Harold L. Tridico in November of 1992, with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office as a secretary/transcriber in the Criminal Investigations Division.

 

She was appointed by Sheriff Wiley as his Executive Assistant when he took office in 1996. Jo’s other responsibilities include supervising the East Side business office, serves as Administrator for the 911 Communication Board, is a member of the S.A.L.T. (Seniors and Lawmen Together) program, and also serves as the Crime Victims Representative for all of Ascension Parish.

 

Jo is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Ascension and currently serves on the Alumni Executive board of that organization.

 

She and her husband Bill reside in Ascension Parish. The Roux’s have three sons, Lance, Stephan and Eric along with two grandchildren, Gage and Helayna.
