In cooperation with numerous local, state and federal agencies, the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office seeks to prevent disasters whenever possible and minimize losses through coordination, planning, public awareness information and education.
Our mission is to provide Ascension Parish with a comprehensive emergency management program that will reduce or eliminate the vulnerability to hazards through effective incident management, planning, education and interagency coordination.
